You must brush a Donkey everyday.
It is very important so that it can remove mud and Burs (Burs are a type of thorns). Some of the Donkeys are really soft because they were better taken care of than others. Some of them felt horrible because they are very dirty and haven't been well taken care of because they were new.
They also have to have there hooves cleaned. The person who does that is called a "Farrier". They have to be cleaned quite a lot. You also need to clean their eyes, thats also very important otherwise dust and dirt will get in and there eyes and will get infected. It's the same thing with the hooves. Except the hooves will get sores and go all gross.

Wow, i had no idea there was so much to taking care of a donkey. The idea of a hoof full of sores is a bit gross, imagine how sore it must be! Thanks for sharing all this info and I love your movie!
